Autobiography |

I was born in Iran on
December 7th, 1967. The first time I took a picture was about the
age of eight with a very old 120 camera with bellows. I photographed
my brother and our home and also my pets. Later, about the age of
fifteen, I started more seriously to take pictures. I made a very small
darkroom in my bathroom and I processed my own films. I became
more and more experienced in my friends labs and darkrooms with
manual and automatic machines. When I moved to Belgium at the age
of 19, I slowly changed my subjects from Landscape and portraits
to candid shots and photojournalism. I traveled around Europe,
Pakistan, India and Iran to take pictures. I studied artistic
photography at Institut des Beaux Arts St. Luc de Liege (Belgium). |
